External Firewire/IEEE1394 multi-drive enclosure that provides two 5.25 inch bays for IDE/ATA devices like CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, tape drives, and hard disk drives. It allows IDE drives to be connected to a FireWire/IEEE1394 serial bus in a plug-and-play fashion. Both ATA and ATAPI devices are supported using the same firmware. Standard 3.5" hard drive can be installed with mobile racks providing large capacity swappable storage solution. Two external FireWire/IEEE1394 ports on back of enclosure. Power Switch & LEDs on enclosure front. Internal power supply is autoswitching 90-264V, 50/60Hz. Enclosure contains 8 x 8 cm fan mounted on back & is 13" x 7" x 6.5".
