The XtraFire 911 Drive is an external hard drive that offers a low-priced, "instant" storage solution for running applications, digital video, MP3 music, archive backups, large-capacity portable storage, classified/sensitive data storage, or just extra disk storage. The XtraFire 911 Drive is a "second generation" firewire storage device. Using the Oxford 911 bridge board, the XtraFire 911 drives typically transfer data at 20-25 MB/sec - almost twice the speed of "firest generation" devices. The XtraFire 911 Drive supports Plug & Play "Hot Swapping" through the IEEE 1394/FireWire/iLink port for instant access to your files. The drive wieghs 2.4 lbs. and measures 5" x 8.8" x 1.4" and comes with an external power supply. Drive enclosure has two 6-pin firewire ports on the back & comes with a 6-pin to 6-pin cable.
